This award honors community college classified employees demonstrating the highest level of commitment to the Vision for Success, the California Community Colleges mission, professional ethics and standards, serving the institution through professional and/or community activities, and serving as a leader beyond the local institution.

Each site in the District nominates one individual to represent their site as Classified Employee of the Year. From those four candidates, one person is selected as the District's Classified Employee of the Year and submitted to the State Chancellor's Office for consideration as the 2025 California Community Colleges Classified Employee of the Year.Ìý

. Nomination forms will be submitted to the following site representatives:

DAC – Kelly Barton

MC – Rebecca Stroud

OC – Sergio Arana

VC – Michael Haydon

Nomination forms are due by Monday, December 2, 2024

The District’s Classified Employee of the Year will be announced at the March 2025 Board of Trustees meeting.
